Car Batteries

What do I do if my car battery is dead?

If your car won’t start and you think it’s because the battery has failed, the first thing to try is using jump leads to start the car. Just be certain to attach the leads correctly – there will be instructions on how to do this in your manufacturer’s handbook. If the car still won’t start, then get in touch with Hogg MOT Service Centre. We stock and fit a wide range of batteries at our workshop in Hebburn, to suit all makes and models, and all budgets.

As a member of both Approved Garages and AutoCare, you have the peace of mind that Hogg MOT Service Centre is regularly audited and are pleased to be committed to a strict code of conduct that ensures that our customers receive quality workmanship following manufacturer guidelines with excellent customer service and fair, transparent pricing.
